Kenneth A. Graham, Senior Managing Principal

Ken Graham is the Senior Managing Principal and founder of Inverness Graham Investments, an operationally focused, lower middle market private investment firm with over $500M of assets under management. Ken oversees all activities of the firm, including investment sourcing, evaluation, monitoring and divestiture.

Prior to forming Inverness Graham, Ken served as Senior Vice President of Graham Packaging Company, heading Latin American Operations, Global Business Development, and the Tetra Pak/Graham Global Alliance and as Executive Chairman of Graham Engineering Corporation. Earlier in his career, Ken served as Director of Business Development for Superconducting Core Technologies, as a manager for turnaround consultants Mackenzie, Hovey and Associates, and was a co-founder of media technology and services firm Media Stream.

Ken currently serves on the National Advisory Board for Technology Transfer at the University of Michigan and as a trustee of Thomas Jefferson University. He is Vice Chairman of the Burke Mountain Academy Board of Trustees and is active in numerous other professional organizations in private equity and regional business.

Ken earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College.

Scott Kehoe, Managing Principal, Investment Committee

Scott is a co-founder of Inverness Graham and, along with the other Managing Principals, shares responsibility for all major operational functions of the firm, including investment sourcing, structuring, negotiating, divesting and working with portfolio companies. Scott serves on the Inverness Graham Investment Committee.  

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Scott was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young where he was a key player in the launch of two businesses - E&Y's Strategic Advisory Services practice (corporate strategy consulting to Fortune 500 clients) and Connected Enterprise Solutions (start-up electronic commerce software and services business). He has extensive experience assisting Fortune 500 companies in developing and executing growth-oriented strategies.

Michael Morrissey, Managing Principal & Head of Business Development, Investment Committee

Michael joined Inverness Graham in 2004. His responsibilities include sourcing and assessing investment opportunities, coordinating financial and operational due diligence, negotiating acquisition and financing transactions and working with management teams post-acquisition. Michael also directs Inverness Graham's business development efforts.

 

Michael was the Vice President of Business Development with Boston-based Audax Group, a $1 billion private equity firm that manages both a leveraged buyout and a mezzanine debt fund. He also served as a strategy consultant in Bain & Company’s private equity practice. Before joining Bain, Michael was an entrepreneur who raised start-up capital and co-founded a multi-location consumer products manufacturer. Prior to the start-up, he operated and sold a hardware products business.

Trey Sykes, Managing Principal, Investment Committee

Trey joined Inverness Graham in 2002. In 2007, Trey helped launch the firm's West Coast office. His responsibilities include sourcing and assessing investment opportunities, coordinating financial and operational due diligence, negotiating acquisition and financing transactions and working with management teams post-acquisition.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Trey worked at GE Equity specializing in private equity and direct investments. Trey’s prior experience included positions at Lehman Brothers Venture Partners and in investment banking for Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin where he advised various technology clients.

John Reilly, Jr, CFO

John joined Inverness Graham in 2011. His responsibilities include financial administration, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash management. Additionally, John is responsible for all accounting and reporting to limited partners and provides transaction and post-investment support for a number of Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, John held various accounting management positions for the past nine years at KPMG LLP, most recently as Senior Manager, Audit. Prior to KPMG LLP, John was a Senior Associate, Audit & Business Advisory Services, for Arthur Andersen LLP. John is a Certified Public Accountant.

Courtney Comer-Sullivan, Director of Investor Relations

Courtney joined Inverness Graham in 2009. Courtney plays a key role in managing Inverness Graham’s communications with its investors and other external relationships.

Courtney joined Inverness Graham from Graham Partners where she worked as an associate in the Investor Relations Group since 2006. Courtney previously worked as a financial analyst at Five Below, Inc. Prior to Five Below, Courtney worked as an investor relations analyst at Thomson Financial.

Aliya Khaydarova, Principal

Aliya joined Inverness Graham in 2008. Her responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, negotiating acquisition and financing transactions, and providing post investment support for a number of Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Aliya worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Mufson Howe Hunter & Company. She worked on all facets of investment banking engagements for middle market growth companies, including financial and valuation analysis, preparing information memoranda and coordinating due diligence.

Paul Nolen, Principal

Paul joined Inverness Graham in 2012. His responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, negotiating acquisition and financing transactions, and providing post investment support for a number of Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Paul joined Inverness Graham from Graham Partners where he worked since 2004 and most recently as a Senior Associate. His responsibilities included sourcing and assessing investment opportunities, coordinating financial and operational due diligence and working with management teams post-acquisition.

Chris Frystock, Vice President

Chris joined Inverness Graham in 2011. His responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities and providing on-going support and supervision for Inverness Graham’s current portfolio companies.  

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Chris worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Boenning & Scattergood, Inc. He worked on all facets of investment banking engagements for middle market growth companies, including financial and valuation analysis, preparing information memoranda and coordinating due diligence.

Liam Mulhern, Associate

Liam joined Inverness Graham in 2014. His responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities and providing on-going support and supervision for Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Liam served as an intern with Inverness Graham (Summer, 2013).

Trey Simpson, Analyst

Trey joined Inverness Graham in 2015. His responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities and providing on-going support and supervision for Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Trey worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Janney Montgomery Scott within their Infrastructure & Industrials Group.

Jake Wehner, Analyst

Jake joined Inverness Graham in 2016. His responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities and providing on-going support and supervision for Inverness Graham's current portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Jake worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets within their Industrial Group.

Matt Moran, Principal, Head of Business Development

Matt joined Inverness Graham in 2010. His responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities and providing transaction and post investment support for Inverness Graham's portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Matt was an analyst at Laurel Capital Partners, a growth equity and micro-cap buyout firm in Radnor, PA.

Sean Dougherty, Vice President, Direct Sourcing & Executive Partnerships

Sean joined Inverness Graham in 2014. His responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, managing Inverness Graham’s relationships with Industry Executive Partners, and providing transaction and post investment support for the portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Sean was an Assistant Vice President in the New York City office of FBR Capital Markets, a middle-market investment bank where he worked in Institutional Equity Sales & Trading.  Prior to FBR, Sean was an Associate at UBS.

Suzy Secrest, Controller

Suzy joined Inverness Graham in 2013. Her responsibilities include internal accounting and reporting, as well as assisting with accounting and reporting to limited partners.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Suzy held numerous accounting positions at FXI, Inc., most recently as a Financial Planning Analyst. Her responsibilities included preparing and presenting monthly results and analysis of key performance drivers and metrics to executive management, including variance analysis to targets, monthly forecasting, and trend analysis. Suzy is a Certified Public Accountant.

Daniel Lopez, Fund Accountant

Dan joined Inverness Graham in 2011. His responsibilities include assisting with internal accounting and reporting, as well as accounting and reporting to limited partners.

Prior to joining Inverness Graham, Dan was a staff accountant at Unilux, Inc., a manufacturing company in New Jersey.

Steven Wood, CEO , Investment Committee

Steve is a co-founder of Inverness Graham and serves as Inverness Graham’s lead operating partner. As CEO of IGOG, Steve is responsible for building a dedicated operating group to meet the needs of a growing portfolio of operating businesses. Steve serves on the Inverness Graham Investment Committee.  

Previously, Steve served as Chairman and CEO of Graham Engineering Corporation and Senior Group Vice President and CFO of the Graham Companies and Graham Packaging. Prior to joining the Graham Group, Steve was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young where he served in the firm's Audit, Tax, and Entrepreneurial Services Groups.

Denis Connell, Financial Operating Partner

Denis Connell joined Inverness Graham as part of the Inverness Graham Operating Group (IGOG) in 2013. Denis is a Financial Operating Partner and works closely with the portfolio company management and financial teams. Prior to joining Inverness, Denis held numerous positions within KPMG and PwC. Most recently, Denis was a Senior Associate at KPMG within the Transactions & Restructuring group.

Sean Helmig, Financial Operating Analyst

Sean Helmig joined Inverness Graham as part of the Inverness Graham Operating Group (IGOG) in 2015. Sean is a Financial Operating Partner and works closely with the portfolio company management and financial teams.

Prior to joining Inverness, Sean held numerous positions within EY, most recently as a Senior Associate within the Transaction Advisory Services group.
